Still Day 5 - Celebrating Christmas

Early on we promised Tanner that if we brought Tristan home from the hospital we would celebrate Christmas every night in December. So after dinner tonight the boys changed into their matching "doggie" P.J.'s, we dressed Tristan in an outfit his cousins gave him today , we sat on the couch and listened to Christmas music, the boys each opened a gift and we took lots of pictures. We ended our family's Christmas celebration with having special prayer thanking Jesus for allowing the following: (1) Tristan to be born alive, (2) Tristan still being with us on Day 5, (3) Tristan being able to leave the hospital, (4) Tristan being able to come home and (5)Tristan being able to celebrate our First Christmas with him. We cannot even begin to tell you the excitement we have felt celebrating this evening, although realizing this might be the only Christmas we have with him, we made it one we will forever remember. Please continue to pray for us us we face each new and uncertain day ahead.

Praise the lord, He is so awesome. We are continuing to pray for Yvette's health and for Tristan along with the rest of your precious family. What a wonderful Christmas celebration and I pray that you have many more. What a blessing that Tristan got to come home and that Yvette is better. As a mother I know it has been hard on her not to hold Tristan and Love on him when she was having such a rough time of it herself. Happy 6 days old Tristan may you have many more.

What a blessing you have been given by being able to celebrate Christmas with Tristan. Trayc, he looks just like you!!! Love the picture of Tanner and Tristan. As I put Kailani to bed tonight She said a prayer for jesus and the angels to watch over baby tristan and said "I love you baby tristan" and blew kisses.

He is so adorable!!! I admire you and Trayc for this journey you decided to take. I know how scary it had to have been at times. I know how anxious you were to meet him and see his adorable face. Isn't that the best feeling. And just think, you have been blessed to do it 3 times!!! I hope Tristan continues to beat all odds and if he is as stubborn as you and Kim, I know he will. I miss you guys and hope to talk to you soon. Congratulations!!!!!
