Doctor's appt.

This morning at 10:15 am we had a doctor's appt./sonogram. Tristan is growing so good! He weighs 3 lbs., he's gained a 1/2 lb. in 2 weeks, so we were very excited! His heart rate was 142 and his measurements are right where they should be. He was sleeping the whole time, the sonographer tried shaking him but he'd just move around and then go back to sleep. I'm not concerned at all because he has been moving ALL day and ALL night for the last few days so I'm sure he is very tired because I certainly am. My doctor is very impressed by Tristan's continued progress because usually as time goes on a lot of Trisomy 18 babies start slowing down. We have made it to 30 weeks and 5 days!!!! Please pray that Tristan will continue to grow and gain weight and that we will make it to our scheduled c-section date of December 12th.

To your beautiful family, I am praying that he will continue to grow and make progress. It is so good to read your blog and know how badly you want to meet this precious son. I am the mom of precious little girl, 31 mths. old Annabel. Just remember that there are survivors and whatever time that God gives us with these children is priceless!

Dearest Daughter, Son, Grandsons (especially our little Tristan)

My heart is singing praises this morning after reading your words! God is blessing this 'journey' as you share with the world all that is happening in your hearts and lives. All believers will face certain trials; but we know God allows each hardship for a good purpose (Romans 8:28) I just spoke with our dear friend who leads a prayer circle in TN and NC and shared with her your latest blog. She said this good news could not have come at a better time as her brother is in ICU trying to recover from a devastating heart attack and emergency open heart surgery yesterday. She and her 'Sisters in Christ' are so faithful in lifting y'all in prayer each and every day ("The effective prayer of a righteous man [or woman] can accomplish much." -James 5:16), and they rejoice over all the miracles that are flowing over your precious family. Grandma and I are looking forward (with excitement!) to lots of hugs in December. As always, our love and prayers are with y'all each and every minute of the day

PS Our praise for God will be elevated as we meditate on His glorious works and speak of them, both to the Lord and to others.
