Day 34 - Go JAGS!

Tristan had a really good night sleep last night, he actually slept from 12:30 am to 9:30 am this morning, he didn't even wake up when we changed his diaper during his every 3 hr. feeding, now that's a great night for mommy and daddy! Tristan also had a good day today. The excitement for tonight? We live in Jacksonville, Florida so we're big Jaguar fans. For years my dad had season tickets so we would go to several games each season, however, being pregnant with Tayden 2 years ago and then Tristan this past year we've had to watch the games on TV. We quickly learned that even if you can't be at the game you can still be a fan and get dressed up at home. See all 4 of my boys in their Jag attire, aren't they cute? Tonight the Jaguars took on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first set of Playoffs, it was a close game, all the way to the end, but we won so we're headed to the next round of Playoffs - Go JAGS! Please pray for Tristan's continued strength and please pray for us as we face a new day tomorrow.

What a wonderful New Year you are having! I am so happy for your family of 5 as you enjoy this time together! What a PRAISE!
A side note here-at least you can wear your Jags stuff another week-looks like we have to retire our Titans gear until next year! :)

You know Yvette, I wake up every morning and come to my office for my quiet time. Most mornings lately before I do anything I come to your blog to check and see how things are going. I check it several times every day just in case something has changed or something fun and wonderful has happened. Thank you for sharing your journey...GOD is using your life to encourage so many. Know that we continue to pray for you and Trayc and your precious boys.

Well, being that we are from Pittsburgh...I won't comment on that game...but I will comment on how adorable the boys look in their sports attire. And Tristan w/ his eyes open looking up at daddy is priceless! Thanking God each day for Tristan's strength and growth! He has come so much further that I know you had expected! Praise GOD for such a miracle little boy!

I just love coming here and getting my daily "joy fix" as I watch the miracle of Tristan unfold. Just seeing the joy in Dads face with his boys, wow, what a blessing for you all. Praying for more precious days and Gods grace be sufficient for you as each day unfolds. This is proof that we can trust Him.

Love, Laurie in Ca.

Dear Yvette,
I love checking in to find new pictures and stories of all the new little milestones that precious Tristan is reaching. I feel so much joy when I read about those moments and see Tristan's little face. Considering that I'm a stranger in the Bahamas, I can't even fathom how much joy you must be feeling in all these cherished moments you are all sharing as a family. Bless you all and although I can't share Tristan's choice in football teams, I do awfully like the doggy pajamas!
Hugs and prayers,
Christena
