Eva Janette is here

Thank you so much to everyone who has been praying for the family of Eva Janette. I just received an email from a friend letting me know that Eva Janette was born at 8:47 am this morning. She weighs 4 lbs 11 oz and is 18 inches long. I was also sent a picture of her and she is beautiful with a lot of hair! Chrissy will be updating their blog (www.evajanette.blogspot.com) as soon as she is able, so keep checking on them. Please continue to pray for Eva as they are closely monitoring her heart in that apnea is one of the many issues Trisomy 18 babies are born with. Also, please pray for Chrissy's healing, for her strength, for her emotions, for her husband Vinnie and for their 2 children Mya and Dominic.

James 5:16 says: "Confess your faults to one another and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (friend) availeth much."

Yvette,
I also go to FBC and have followed your story every single day and am now following others as well. Thanks for the encouragement to each of us and we continue to pray for your family daily. I've been thinking about this..have you read the book "angel unaware" by Dale Evans Rogers? I checked booksamillion and it's been reprinted and is a precious story that you might find encouraging. Back in the 50's they had a disabled child and she wrote the story through Robin's eyes from heaven. It will certainly touch your life as it did mine many, many years ago. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I found your link a while back through Poppy (who I found through Booth). Anyway, I lost my baby girl 6 months ago due to anencephaly - a fatal neurological birth defect that we found out about at our 20 week ultrasound. I was able to carry her for 36 weeks before she was delivered via c-section (my third). She lived 1 hour and 20 minutes. In reading your blog I realized that you live in Jacksonville, Florida. We found out a month ago that we are moving there for my husband's job. I would love to get an idea of a good OB/GYN to go to. We have another daughter and a son in addition to Olivia. I would like to have another child in the next year or so but I really need to find a doctor that understands what we've been through. Any help on this would be so appreciated. My email is gsbbking@sbcglobal.net or you can find me at my blog (www.shannonsspiel.blogspot.com)

Thanks so much. You have been a true inspiration. :)

Hi Yvette and family! I just wanted to check in with you and let you know that our family is still praying for your family. we've been praying for you since before Tristan was born, and watched as you daily updated us all on his precious life! We're also praying for the other T-18 babies and their families. And baby Joshua's family too. Seeing Jacob and Eva reminds me so much of Tristan...Anyway, we have such a heart for all of you...Love and hugs, The King family in Vancouver, WA.
